This new facility was born from a shared vision between Rivermount College, Ashley Cooper Construction, and Echo Architects. It’s designed to support student wellbeing and community connection.
A balance of privacy & activity
The building pairs a calm, private counselling environment with a vibrant, public tuckshop. Office spaces are strategically placed between the two, creating a natural buffer and transition between zones of differing privacy. Every element was shaped through open dialogue and close collaboration, ensuring the design reflects both functional needs and lived experience.
